As you can see, I ate healthy-ish this week. Skipping meals is never a good idea, and neither is making a habit out of ice cream 3 days out of the week! But if you are going to splurge, make sure to do so in moderation. Buy a mini container of your favorite ice cream instead of a pint. If you go out to eat for dinner with friends, don’t feel obligated to eat the entire plate of food–save your daily calories and your bank account by taking some home and eating the left overs another day! Finally, make sure to eat at home as often as you can. It saves money and oh-so-many calories. You also get the satisfaction of knowing everything going into your body, which also very important for taking control of your health. I plan on meal prepping soon, so stay tuned for next week’s log!
